New to Flex Fleet Canada? Start here with common questions we hear before your rental begins.

What is the shortest rental period Flex Fleet Canada offers?

We rent vehicles for a minimum of one month, but you will see with transportation charges it will better to rent long term. You’ll discover that Flex Fleet Canada rates becomes more economical the longer you rent. 

How long does it take to set up an account?

Your account will be set up once we have successfully processed your business credit check, insurance certificate, and receive a signed contract. It typically takes 1-5 business days depending on the speed in which we receive them.

Can we tow with a Flex Fleet Canada truck?

Yes. All our trucks come with a receiver hitch for towing. Flex Fleet Canada flatbeds come standard with a gooseneck hitch and can be set up for a 5th wheel receiver. However, we recommend that you follow appropriate guidelines from the manufacturer, state and local regulations, and your own company’s policy. 

Can you deliver large orders?

Yes, we can. Flex Fleet Canada can deliver any order size you may have. It can be 2 trucks or 100. We will make sure you get them all delivered to you.

Does Flex Fleet Canada allow off-road driving?

Of course! Unlike many rental companies, our contract does permit you to drive your vehicles offroad. We understand that your projects may be in places where there are no asphalt roads.

My jobsite is in a remote location. Can Flex Fleet Canada supply trucks for my project?

Absolutely. Flex Fleet Canada regularly supplies trucks, on a monthly basis, to just about any location, anywhere in the continental United States.

What type of trucks do Flex Fleet Canada rent?

We have a few types of trucks available for rent. We offer ½ ton, ¾ ton, 1-ton flatbeds, and 1.5-ton flatbeds. All our trucks are crew cab and are 4×4 ready. 

Can I put my company logo on a Flex Fleet Canada vehicle?

Yes. We allow our customers to put removable logos on our trucks.

Can I purchase the vehicle once I’m done renting it?

Purchasing a vehicle from Flex Fleet Canada is possible. Please contact us for details.

Does Flex Fleet Canada rent to individuals, or only to companies?

We provide only corporate, monthly rentals.

Questions about your existing rental?

If you’re an existing customer of Flex Fleet Canada and have questions about your vehicle rental, read below to find support for the most common questions we receive.

Once I’ve placed my fleet rental order, how long will it take for me to receive my vehicles?

The delivery time depends on type of truck, order size, inventory availability, and delivery location. We can deliver to most locations in the lower 48 states within five to ten business days. We encourage you to contact your Sales Representative regarding any special requirements you might have.

How will I know when the truck is delivered?

A Transportation Coordinator will email you with an ETA when we have the truck and transporter assigned.  The Transporter will call you 24 hours prior to delivery to confirm details. 

Can I purchase the vehicle once I’m done renting it?

How can I request a copy of an invoice or registration?

Please click on the Invoices navigation bar item in the portal or email support@flexfleetrental.com to request an invoice or registration.

What features come with GPS service?

Fleet Complete brings a holistic approach to fleet operations. Its connected platform gives you the flexibility to start small and expand your capabilities as your business grows. Manage your entire fleet from one screen and see what is happening remotely in the field. Know where your vehicles and crew are, their productivity levels, and all the fleet metrics you need. Please contact your sales representative for details on this service.

Can I upfit my rental truck?

You can add runner rails, toolboxes, ladder racks, lights, gooseneck hitch, and 5th wheel. We do ask that you professionally install and remove these items once you are done with the rental. If you do install a gooseneck hitch, we ask that you keep it in the truck once the rental period is over. But if you drill holes, you may be responsible for the damage. Please contact your Sales Representative before making any changes. 

What taxes are included on our bill?

Every monthly invoice includes sales taxes and property taxes, when applicable and designated, based on the vehicle’s permanent location. Please email support@flexfleetrental.com if the vehicle’s permanent location changes to ensure the appropriate tax rates are used in the billing calculations.
